Baldur
von Schirach was captured by Allied troops at the end of the war,
brought before the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg and
sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment.
Henriette von
Schirach was
imprisoned in a women's camp on December 24, 1945, and later she was convicted of being an "Altparteigenossin".
She received a 2000 mark fine.
She was released in the spring of 1946.
In 1950 she divorced Baldur von Schirach. In 1956 she went to London to try and get
his 20 year sentence reduced but she did not succeed. Henriette von
Schirach died in 1991.
